#171 - Smoke gets in your EYES

They asked me how I knew my true love was true
I of course replied
"something here inside cannot be denied
They said "someday you'll find
all who love are blind"
When your heart's on fire,
you must realize
smoke gets in your eyes

So I chaffed them and I gaily laughed
to think they could doubt my love
Yet today my love has flown away,
I am without my love

Now laughing friends deride
tears I cannot hide
So I smile and say
"when a lovely flame dies,
smoke gets in your eyes"

I was fascinated to that slim yet powerful stick.
I was incognito whenever I puffed those newlyfound buddy.
I was able to hide my emotions... and tears.

I was aghast that whenever I gasp
I felt numbness on my freaking mind,
It emits pain from my heart.

I found a quiet companion.
It was my only solace in my midst
I learned that my fiancé imbued a student.

It's been 6 years since I started to puff.
I got hooked!
Now I wanted to stop.

Im trying to cut it out.
It pains me...
I need to...
I want to...






Damn, it's so hard!
