Today is the first day of Ramadan or holy month of our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Working in a Muslim country, we, the non-muslims must observe and respect the Muslims traditions and practices. Fasting is the most important practice to be observed. So eating, drinking and smoking in public places are prohibited. Working hours are shorthen from 8 hours to 6 hours. All entertainment establishmests like disco's and bars are close. Restaurants and Coffee shops are open from 6:00pm to 4:00am.

I am an only Christian in our office, so I must respect my officemates not to brew a coffee or to take anything to fill my thirst and hunger. So my caffeine intake lessens during this month. At first, it's hard but once you get used to it, it became part of your system.
