London bridge is falling down

London Bridge is Falling Down is very popular song amongst children. I used to sing this song with my cousins when I was a child. We even have some sort of action play with other children using this song. Like others, I’m dreaming of going to London, walk in the famous London Bridge and stay in one of their luxurious London Hotels even for one night only.

I’m dreaming of staying in Dublin Hotels and hopefully I could meet my blog friend there. Then I will fly to Czech Republic and experience to stay in Prague Hotels. Since I will be in Europe, I make sure I will make my travel to the fullest and make use of the visa.

These are all plans until now. I’m still keeping my fingers cross for all impending hindrances that might come in my plans. I’m just praying that it will all work out fine.

Invading europe

I had a chat with my cousin who is currently living in Norway. I mentioned to her that I was planning to visit Portugal and I will be staying in Porto Hotels for my humanitarian project. She was so excited and told me that since I will obtain a Schengen visa, she wants me to meet her in Spain and we could relax in Valencia Hotels. I am too excited on the idea. She even told me that I could visit 15 Europe countries with schengen visa and extended her invitation in her place.

In Norway, she explained that she could find a room for us to stay since I could not sleep over in her flat for she shares with some friends. She even told me not to bother about the accommodation since she knew some good Bergen Hotels that are affordable. With our plans ahead, who couldn’t get excited on that?

Last Minute Notice

Last week, my friend SOE was suffocating from her boss. The reason, the boss wanted her to book a hotel accommodation in four different cities in the US. She was only given a week notice inorder to finish the task. She was so worried and haggard from other work plus the fact that it was hard for her to find a room. She was instructed to find the most affordable room. So I offer my services and found out the tasks from her boss.

I listed the cities and instructions. First, I was to find cheap New York City hotels for the first stop and book for 3 days and as much as possible near the Statue of Liberty. Then another cheap Miami Hotels for 2 days, I was lucky to found one in Miami with all hotels being fully book. Another 2 days stay at cheap Los Angeles Hotels and the last stop is to find cheap San Francisco Hotels for 5 days but should be near in San Francisco International Airport.

After an hour, I called SOE to inform her that all has been accomplished and not to worry about his superior’s order. I even inform her that I downloaded some photo's.

Down Under

I had a brief yet funny chat with my long time friend (Mel) yesterday. She was my former colleague back home and I'm a Godmother to her eldest daughter. Our friendship reunited when I visited her in Bangkok 2 years ago. Now that she’s in Oz, again she invited me to visit there and even extended her invitation to the Thursday Club. Both of us love to travel and she knew that I like staying in the hotel.

For one, I found out that there’s a Novotel and Radisson in Oz. I like Novotel because that is the place where I lived when I used to work in Bangkok. Radisson Hotels is familiar to me because there’s Radisson here in Dubai. Then I got a tempting bargain from Ibis Hotels, which is very convenient place to stay because it is near in the airport and commercial area. I also check Quest Apartments just in case Thursday Club wants to visit Mel. Thursday Club Family opted to stay together in one big place the same thing that we did in Bangkok.

Hmmm, another adventure, another travel, but when will I squeeze this to my calendar? Just hang on Mel, Thursday Club Family will invade you soon.

Mother's Day in Vegas

Today is mother’s day and I wanted to greet all the mothers in the world a Happy Mother’s Day especially to my Mom.

Then I called my cousin to greet her as well as my Aunt but I found out that my Aunt and Uncle are having a grand vacation in Las Vegas hotels. Oh wow, that’s my dream for my Mom too.

I found out also that my cousin was able to grab a Las Vegas hotel deals last week and immediately booked her parents right away. I knew my Aunt, she’s a big fan of Elvis Presley and the Rat Pack boys especially Frank Sinatra. It’s her big dream not only to play in the casino but to watch a live entertainment in the Theater Lounge. My aunt has a golden voice and I knew she will be enjoying her vacation there.

My cousin was so delighted telling me these stories, upon giving her parents the tickets and booking confirmation, my Aunt cried a lot. What a happy moments for them. She wanted to give her Mom and Dad a special wedding anniversary presents that’s why she kept on looking for Vegas hotels until she found the great deal. What a coincidence for her, because it’s a double celebration, a Mother’s Day and Aunt and Uncle’s Wedding Anniversary.

To my Aunt and Uncle, enjoy your stay.

Hot in the City - 3

After my conversation with some colleagues yesterday, another group approaches me today and even joke around that my space became a travel advisory corner. It’s good that my workload is less that I could entertain my multiracial colleagues.

Spending summer here is not their cup of tea, so these people are running fast to get out from the heat. One colleague asked me about Munich. I was taken aback for I don’t want to revoke a gloomy episode of my saga.

Instead, I called our travel agency to give us travel advisory to Germany. She’s quite handy and came to our office. According to her, reservation for accommodations in Berlin Hotels, Frankfurt Hotels, Munich Hotels and Köln Hotels are all conveniently located to tourist destination and open for travelers. The four mentioned major cities should not be left out in our itineraries and amongst tourist favorites place to visit in Germany. Olympia Park in Munich, St. Paul Church in Frankfurt, Pergamon Museum and Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Cologne Cathedral and Hohenzollern Bridge in Köln or Cologne, are some of the places that she recommended to us to visit.

Hmmm, this is interesting, let me check my calendar.

Hot in the City – 2

Summer is fast approaching and my colleagues won’t stop pestering me regarding travel tips.

So here’s another update, I mention to my colleagues about the travel packages being offered in France and UK and they were all excited.

For some who wants to go to Paris, I refer them to my previous post ‘Next Stop:France’ to get more information, tips, tourist destination and accommodation especially in Paris Hotels.

Then I discussed to other group about UK packages which is being offered by our official travel agency. I pointed out that Buckingham Palace, Opera House and Victoria Square must be on their top 3 priorities to visit. Knowing these people who don’t want any unexpected situation to happen, I informed them beforehand that these tourist sites are located in different cities, so they must ensure their accommodations and look for London Hotels, Birmingham Hotels and Manchester Hotels which are the key cities for the top 3 destination.

Wheew, what a day! Maybe I should shift my career into a travel adviser.

Hot in the city

Summer is fast approaching here and you can feel the humid. If you are used to spend summer here, you wouldn’t join the bandwagon of my officemates who are rushing to plan their summer get-away. As early as today, few of my officemates were applying their vacation leave, planning ahead and calling me. Since it is widely spread in our office about my travels, my phone wont stop ringing, my room is always full every lunch break and my officemates keep on asking my advice on where to go.

Europe and Asia are the best pit-stop. Since I have list of contacts and friends from my travels, they were asking me about the right contact person or agent or ask my view on certain places. There’s no problem helping them out, but they are divided into sub-continents. So I advised them that I will concentrate first to those groups planning to tour Europe.

Italy is the most nominated among couples or partners. So I recommended Venice or Florence. For partners who wanted a romantic escapade, I told them to look for Hotel Venice so that they can secure an accommodation first. Then I recommended Hotel Florence for my officemates who loves the renaissance. I also suggested Rome apartment if incase they want to stop by in the Capital city of Italy.

All of them were ecstatic when they checked out the site and told me about the usefulness of the information, maps, tours availability and photos they got. Aside from that, they can hop-in from one city to another without getting lost.

I was so relieved. At least I was able to help them out. One down, more to go.

Next Stop: France

I need a vacation! After a gruelling week of work, I decided to plan my much-awaited vacation. That’s it, I’m going to France.

Although my target month to spend my vacation is still far, I decided to layout my itinerary. The first thing I did was to look for France Hotels. Wow, unbelievable! It’s a one stop site to look for and offers hotels and maps for tourist destination. Since my first stop is Paris, the Romantic Capital City in the world, I checked Paris Hotels so that I can check a hotel room near in Eiffel Tower. Too bad, my boyfriend can't join me in this travel, so i will just imagine myself walking hand in hand with him. Arc De Triomphe and Centre Pompidou is next on my list. I need to visit Notre Dame Cathedral also to light a candle for my dad and to buy some gift for my mom. A friend of mine advises me also to check Paris Latin Quarter Hotels because they offer great views and a convenient place for tourist like me. I will try to visit The Louvre if I still have a budget and with that I need to check Cheap Paris Hotels just in case I run out of budget. I need an alternative plan for my itinerary because I’m planning to visit the southern part of France which is Nice.

Since I love the beach, I checked Nice Hotels to look for a place to stay because I heard that Nice is the leading resort in French Riviera.

Hmmm, with these plans in my hand, how I wish I could go there now.
